For a recent residence on 60th Court in Pinecrest, FL 33156, our Design Consultant Manuela, based out of our South Miami Showroom, was tasked with turning a spacious playroom into a living storybook. By curating a bespoke wall-to-wall artwork from our Dress Your Wall studio custom mural selection, Manuela wrapped the entire room in an enchanting, continuous jungle safari landscape.

The Challenge: Seamless Wall-to-Wall Storytelling Across Complex Architecture in this Pinecrest Playroom

Wrapping an entire room in a continuous illustrative landscape requires meticulous planning to avoid breaking the artistic flow:

Architectural Obstacles: The room was filled with structural interruptions, including multiple light-wood doors, en-suite bathroom openings, an inset wall vent, ceiling recessed lights, and hidden cove lighting ledges.
Large Furniture & Electronics Integration: The layout included a large wall-mounted TV, a custom wooden playhouse bed structure, tall bookcases, and floor-to-ceiling glass patio doors leading out to the lush Pinecrest backyard.
Perspective and Scale Alignment: The artwork needed to feel balanced from every angle so that key safari animals—like majestic elephants, stealthy leopards, and soaring macaws—weren't hidden behind furniture or abruptly cut off by doorway trim.

By custom-sizing the mural to the exact layout of the room, Manuela ensured that every animal found its ideal home. A majestic elephant herd drinks peacefully from a natural watering hole across the main wall, perfectly framing the mounted TV screen. Near the entrance, a leopard lounges on an overhead branch above the door casing, while colorful macaws soar through a sunlit canopy along the ceiling's warm cove lighting.

2. Seamless Integration with Natural Light and Wood Tones

As captured in the video walkthrough, the mural’s rich terracottas, deep forest greens, and warm golden sunlight tones blend effortlessly with the light wood door trims, pale travertine flooring, and custom wooden play furniture. The artwork visually extends the lush green view from the room's glass patio doors directly into the interior space of this Pinecrest Playroom.

3. Masterful Trimming and Corner Precision

Installing a continuous 360-degree mural requires expert precision. Our installation team worked seamlessly around every corner, wrapping the dense jungle canopy smoothly behind the wooden playhouse bed, trimming clean lines around light switches and air vents, and maintaining perfect panel alignment above every door header.
